Terms of Service

1. Nature of service

Daichi Vendor Portal is a software-as-a-service platform that facilitates vendor management — including onboarding, performance scoring, contract storage and reporting. The platform itself does not provide procurement, legal or audit services.

2. Account and roles

Client organisations are responsible for the accuracy of user accounts, role assignments and authorised access. Vendors invited to the platform retain ownership of data they submit.

3. Vendor data ownership

Vendors own all information they submit through onboarding. Client organisations obtain a limited licence to use that data for procurement decisions. Vendors may request deletion at any time.

4. Document storage and security

Uploaded documents are stored using industry-standard encryption. Access is scoped to the originating client organisation and authorised users only. We maintain reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Performance scoring disclaimer

Performance scores reflect the subjective evaluation of the client organisation's procurement team using the KPIs they configure. Scores are indicative only and do not constitute a certified rating of any vendor.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other organisations' data, or upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daichi is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at the end of the billing period. On termination, client data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi.
